99 illegal schools shut down as; She warned that the present government under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will not; compromise standard in the education sector.
The Kwara State Government Thursday closed down 99 illegal schools across the state.
The affected schools, according; to the Press Secretary of the state Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Kamaldeen Y Aliagan, included private nursery and private schools under illegal operation by their proprietors.
The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Hajia Mariam Ayodeji Garba, said; the owners of the alleged schools violated the laid down rules and regulations of government in respect of the establishment of the schools.
She warned that the present government under; the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will not compromise standard in the education sector and other; sectors of the economy.
Hajia Garba said the present government was; committed to the provision of sound and quality education that will make products of the schools compete favourably with other students across the globe.
