A Nigerian chemistry student identified as Emelife Stella Chinelo, who enrolled for; an M.Sc in Chemistry at the University of Mysore, has received; 20 medals and five cash prizes over her 9.263% final grade point.
The Nigerian chemistry student who received the 20 medals and five cash prizes from University of Mysore at; the school’s 99th annual convocation on Sunday, is said; to be the first foreign student in recent years to bag so many gold medals.
It was; gathered that the University of Mysore has over 1,000 foreign students, pursuing under-graduate and post-graduate courses in colleges affiliated to it and in Manasagangotri.
With an FGP of 8.394%, Sanjana Darla P., a student of M.A. Economics bagged ten gold medals — the second highest number of gold medals and three cash prizes from the Indian University.
