Prof Uche Amalu the Deputy Vice Chancellor university of calabar insist that payment of relevant school charges and dues was; precondition for taking part in the second semester exams.
Addressing final year students of Faculty of management sciences in the institution, Prof Amalu said; the institution, Prof Amalu said the university took the tough stance after observing with dismay the laxity shown toward prompt payment of charges.
He told the students who had; clustered round the gate leading to the vice Chancellor’s block that they will not be; admitted into the exams hall until a definite payment of school charges has been; complied.
Prof Amalu said that the Prof Zana Akpagu administration will be; failing in its duty of providing basic Necessities to student if it trifles with payment of school charges.
On that note the students are being; offered another opportunity to take part in the exams that they have missed. The deputy Vice Chancellor said their case will be; given attention by the VICE Chancellors after payment of relevant school charges
