    GOVERNOR UDOM TO RE-ENERGISE EDUCATION

    Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, on Wednesday 19th December 2018, had a one-on-one interaction with teachers in fashioning out modalities to re – energise the education sector during a – one day Teachers Refreshers Training and Town Hall Meeting put together by Education Monitoring Unit in collaboration with the state Ministry of Education for Principals, Head Teachers And Education Stakeholders at the Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Hall , Udo Udoma House, Uyo.     “We had one of the worst recession in Nigeria, and most States couldn’t pay salaries, but we had to devise a means to pay salaries in Akwa Ibom State. Some of the times we pay salaries, we don’t receive statutory allocation from the Federal Government.”-Governor UDOM Emmanuel
