The Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, says the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has increased the university admission quota from 4,000 to 5,000 students.
Prof. Akaro -Mainoma made this known on Friday in keffi members state house of Assembly committee on education science and technology paid an over sight visit to the institution.
The Vice Chancellor continued to support the institution and gave assurance to the initiate; good policies and programmes for lecturers and students.
We are maintaining the act establishing the university that 80 per cent of every admission of the institution should be; given to indigence while 20 percent should be non-Indigence, he said.
We will continue to do our best to maintain standard and; ensure that the standard of education in the institution is; improved.
