Position: Shift Millwright
Job Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Millwright is primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of tissue converting equipment:
- Install, align, adjust, take apart and move converting units and other equipment such as pumps, fans, conveyors, according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Completes planned and unplanned maintenance activities to support operations.
- Supports operations by completing changeovers of major components on converting units
- Operating hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine preventive maintenance work on machinery
- Work systematically and logically to troubleshoot problems and identify the root cause – resolve and put in place measures to prevent reoccurrence
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including idea generation
- Participate in training and cross training improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
- Completing shift handovers
- Perform other duties as required
- Develop and maintain effective relations with all company employees at various organizational levels.
Job Requirements:
Position Requirements:
- Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A);
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Millwright;
- Experience working in automation with high speed packaging equipment (preferred); and
- Pneumatics and hydraulics experience
- Available to work 12hr rotating shift.

Compensation:
$41.20 per hour plus a competitive benefit package, pension plan and annual incentive program.
