A speaker at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism NIJ has been; sacked for supposed rape on an understudy.
As per a Punch Metro report, the Nigerian Institute of Journalism has sacked one of its teachers, Mr Tene John, over affirmed s*xual attack on one of its understudies, Ms Anjola Ogunyemi.
His sack was; declared by the NIJ in an official discharge marked by its Registrar and coursed on its official web based life handles on Monday.
Speakers in the news-casting establishment affirmed the genuineness of the discharge to our reporter on the phone.
The PUNCH assembled that Ogunyemi had blamed Tene for endeavoring to strongly have sex with her in his office.
The understudy, who in this manner appealed to the establishment and requested test, said she has; landed at the organization for a morning address when the occurrence occurred.
Upon examination, the organization alleviated Tene of his activity and cautioned different teachers and understudies to stop from such; a demonstration.
The discharge read partially, “Our consideration has been attracted to a post on the internet based life, by one of our understudies, Ms Anjola Ogunyemi in National Diploma One, claiming inappropriate behavior against one of our low maintenance teachers, Mr Tene John.
