The Jigawa state Coordinator of National Youth Service Corps [NYSC] Ibrahim Abdul; has appealed to the state government for the provision of sufficient accommodation for corps members that would be; posted into the hinterland.
Abdul made the appeal over the weekend during his familiarization tour, adding that as part of complementing the state government’s effort on improving agriculture, the NYSC was willing to post corps members with agricultural background to rural areas as extension workers.
The era of concentrating the posting of corps members to urban areas is over.
It is on this premise that NYSC is; appealing for the cooperation and support of the state government particularly on those posted to hinterland.
Provision of accommodation can be; a great morale booster for the corps members into the interior, he said.
