Together with; our generous partner schools, The Stage has been offering scholarships to the UK’s top stage schools, drama schools and academies for nearly 30 years.
This year there are opportunities open to more than 80 potential students, granting access to training in drama, musical theatre, dance and scenic arts.
The free tuition offered by schools through The Stage Scholarships in 2019 is in excess of £290,000.
Here, we introduce you to our 10 partners and the range of scholarships available. No matter what your circumstances, there is something for you, with two partners outside London and one boasting at least 43 sites throughout the UK.
Four of the organisations listed cater for children (either full or part-time), others specialise in providing foundation training for students wishing to pursue a career in the performing arts.
Not only that, Fourth Monkey offers a unique opportunity to join a two-year rep actor training programme and Emil Dale Academy is offering a full scholarship on its new BA (hons) in Musical Theatre.
There is an opportunity to train in backstage skills as well as performance.
This year for the first time, Graeae Theatre Company, specialising in training and creating theatre with D/deaf and disabled artists, is supporting The Stage Scholarships programme by providing advice, support, guidance and a professional mentor for up to three students identifying as D/deaf and/or disabled recruited through the scheme.
