Justice AM Yakubu ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Falgore
The Kano state House of Assembly election petition tribunal has nullified the victory of Magaji Zarewa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the rerun election of Rogo constituency held in January.

In his judgment, Justice Yakubu said both the oral and written evidence adduced by the counsel for the petitioner and that of the respondents “satisfactorily proved that Magaji Dahiru Zarewa of the APC kano did not resign his position 30 days to the rerun election of Rogo constituency in the state House of Assembly.”
The tribunal also ordered INEC to present the certificate of return to Falgore, who was the first runner-up during the election.
