New dates have been;, Uniuyo fixed new date for the 2019 University of Uyo Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
The Screening Exercise which was; postponed due to the ongoing SSANU/NASU strike, will now hold from Monday 26th to Saturday 31st August, 2019.
Candidates should note that the initial scheduled days and venues for respective faculties remain unchanged.
The admission Uniuyo postponed post utme screening exercise which was; billed to commence today at various screening venues in the University, will no longer hold as scheduled.
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) had on Friday announced their intention to embark on a one-week warning strike nationwide from; August 19th to 23rd, 2019.
In a letter signed by; SSANU President and Chairman of the Joint Action Committee, Samson Ugwoke, and General Secretary, Peters Adeyemi, the unions revealed that the strike was; occasioned by the failure of the Federal Government to fulfill their demands after the expiration of a 14-day ultimatum.
New dates for the admission screening exercise will be; announced in due course.
