WAEC reacted to increase of registration fee.

The exam body said; it did not any point hike its fee as widely being speculated. The west Africa Examination council (WAEC) has; reacted to the reports on social media that it has increased its; registration fee from N13,950 to N30,000.

WAEC was reacting to an inquiry by one Lagos driver; @ Lagos uber on twitter who wrote from 13,950 to 30k now. The responding from the exam body said the fee for 2018 first series is 13,950.

Registration fee for the WASSCE for private candidates 2018 first series is; 13,950 Naira excluding bank commission of 500 Naira, it tweeted.
